From May 27–29, AUMOVIO Engineering Solutions exhibited its expertise at JSAE Yokohama, Japan. We showcased our solutions within the UK Pavilion, which highlights innovative technologies being exported from the UK to global markets. Our presence at this prestigious event reinforced our strength and capabilities across multiple countries and industries.
The JSAE (Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan) Yokohama Congress is one of Asia’s leading automotive engineering events, bringing together OEMs, suppliers, researchers, and technology leaders to present the latest advancements in mobility, electrification, and intelligent vehicle systems. It provides a strong platform for global collaboration and knowledge exchange within the automotive sector.
Engaging the Japanese market
We presented a range of use cases and solutions, with a primary focus on interior connectivity systems, electrification, and drivetrain technologies. In addition, we highlighted our cybersecurity and software solutions, addressing the growing need to protect data, ensure functional safety, and strengthen enterprise-level resilience in connected vehicle ecosystems.
Over the three days, we welcomed visitors from both Japan and international markets. To enhance engagement and accessibility, we tailored our communication approach to the Japanese audience by providing brochures and fact sheets in Japanese, helping us build stronger local connections and visibility.
Engineering electrification
One of our key exhibits was the Electric vehicle control unit (EVCU), developed for optimal hardware performance and enhanced by versatile software capabilities. The EVCU supports a wide range of functions, including operation and drive mode management, energy optimization, battery and vehicle charging management, and overall vehicle system coordination. Closely related to this, our work also aligns with the EVCC (Electric vehicle communication controller) domain, which plays a critical role in enabling seamless communication between the vehicle and charging infrastructure, particularly for smart charging and interoperability standards.
Advancing connectivity and telematics
We also placed a strong emphasis on telematics and connectivity, showcasing advanced solutions such as human machine interface (HMI) features and Telematic control units (TCUs). Our offerings include high-performance compute (HPC) integration, supporting displays, as well as analog and acoustic interfaces, to deliver a cohesive and enhanced user experience.
Recognizing the increasing need for integrated responsibility across industry stakeholders, we further demonstrated our comprehensive end-to-end cybersecurity solutions, designed to protect modern vehicles across the entire lifecycle.
