AUMOVIO Engineering Solutions (AES) is proud to announce our role in one of the most exciting vehicle debuts of the year: the HWA EVO, which made its first public dynamic appearance during the legendary Nürburgring 24 Hours.
As a key development partner to HWA AG, AUMOVIO Engineering Solutions contributed essential electronics and system integration expertise, delivering the Body Control Module and Access Systems for the EVO – a street-legal, high-performance reinterpretation of the iconic Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 Evo II.
Engineering legacy, reborn

The HWA EVO blends motorsport heritage with modern performance engineering. Limited to just 100 production vehicles, the EVO is a tribute to one of DTM’s most beloved machines, brought back to life with cutting-edge materials, electronics, and manufacturing precision. AES’ role in enabling key interior and access functions underlines our mission to deliver invisible innovation that enhances the driver experience without compromising performance.
First public appearance at the Nürburgring.
Two HWA EVO prototypes – one in Silver Distel, the other in a classic racing livery – thrilled fans during multiple demonstration laps around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The cars also featured in the paddock throughout race week, alongside HWA leadership and the original concept demonstrator.
The event marked not just a visual reveal, but the first public test of systems and components developed in collaboration with top-tier suppliers. With the vehicles currently undergoing extensive development with Bosch Engineering GmbH, Nürburgring provided a high-impact opportunity to validate real-world performance.

On the Road toNürburgring 24h – 2026.
Building on the momentum from this debut, HWA has confirmed its entry into the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours, with two specially developed track variants of the HWA EVO to compete in the SP-X class. AUMOVIO Engineering Solutions is proud to be a continued partner on this journey, helping push the limits of what’s possible in modern performance vehicles.
