Our new Zone Control Unit
Our new Zone Control Unit (ZCU) takes on the role of a communication gateway, provides smart power distribution, and ensures the reliable execution of x-domain real-time vehicle functions.
AUMOVIO Engineering Solutions’ Zone Controller platform covers common body features and introduces advanced zonal functions such as smart power distribution and zonal gateways. Benefits include reduced wiring harnesses, improved E/E integration, flexible and safe load balancing using smart e-fuses, and the capability to replace key body ECUs. The hardware platform is uniform across vehicle zones with customizable configurations as needed. It supports functional safety management up to ASIL B.
