The system combines acoustic and visual park distance warnings with automatic emergency braking to prevent imminent collisions.
Surround view cameras enable a variety of advanced vision features, including but not limited to:
- Bird’s eye view
- 3D Static or adaptive bowl views
- Single camera views
- Dual camera / curb view
A particular highlight is the transparent hood feature, which gives the driver a virtual view through the vehicle’s hood. This allows the driver to detect obstacles such as rocks on uneven terrain or curbs that could damage the wheels.
In its premium configuration, the system also offers semi-automated and remote parking functions.
